Learn All the Time (LATT), formerly known as the Central Texas Afterschool Network is a network of 70 collaborating nonprofit and public agencies providing OST or related services to youth and their families. Participating organizations include youth service providers, funders; Ready by 21; United Ways of Greater Austin; E3 Alliance; the City of Austin, Travis County and area school districts.
LATT serves as an intermediary organization whose purpose is to guide a research-based approach to coordinate the work of out-of-school time (OST) service providers, public agencies, funders, and schools to achieve the common vision that all Central Texas children and youth become future ready by participating in an eco-system of high-quality out-of-school time experiences.
LATT’s mission is to foster, support and grow an ecosystem of high quality OST programs and experiences that are made available and accessible for all Central Texas children and youth, regardless of economic background. The vision and mission are supported by three goals that when fully implemented will strengthen the providers’ ability to implement quality practices that will increase expected outcomes. The three goals are:
Quality: Provide direction and support for high quality program standards that are reinforced by a culture of participatory learning, which includes ongoing program/organizational improvement, training and professional development.
Capacity: Ensure high quality OST programming and experiences are available and accessible to all Central Texas children, youth and their families.
Outcomes: Use data to inform and drive decision making, monitor progress and articulate clear outcomes or children and youth that are appropriate to the OST setting.
